  • VARIMACĀ® V
    Eddy Current Comparator
     :  The Varimac V, latest in MAC's line of eddy current comparators gives you fast, convenient sorting of metal parts such as fasteners, bearings, and other cold formed pieces, based on variations in physical characteristics such as alloy, hardness, heat treatment and some dimensional variations. Its high speed continuous operation and reliability in production environments make 100% non destructive inspection economically feasible.

    In addition to parts testing, the Varimac V is also frequently used for checking alloy, grades and hardness in bar, wire and tubing. Customers use the Varimac to identify accidentally mixed grades such as 1010 and 1020 carbon steel and 304 and 316 stainless, as well as to monitor their product on a continuing basis.

  • PRODUCTION COMPARATOR VI
     :  A low frequency electromagnetic comparator to inspect ferro magnetic materials for variations in physical characteristics such as alloy, heat treatment and case depth.

  • PROMACĀ® MAC 141 PROBE TESTER
     :  Promac eddy current tester for on site non destructive testing of heat exchanger tubing.

  • 2WR Wire Rope Tester :  Magnetic Flux leakage tester designed to detect single broken wires in most types of wire rope whether on the outer surface of the bundle, or buried.

  • TEST COIL PLATFORMS & DRIVE MECHANISMS :  Mechanisms to precisely hold and position eddy current test coils, probes, or ultrasonic transducers, and drive the product through the tester, are essential for accurate, consistent non destructive test results. MAC offers a wide range of coil platforms, drives, elevating platforms and other accessories for on or off-line ndt testing

  • FEED SYSTEMS
     :  MAC's Feed Systems are the ideal way to provide mechanical handling of bars and tubing as they enter and leave an NDT test station. Designed to withstand the hard use of production environments, MAC Feed Systems are economical, easy to install and readily adapted to changing needs.

  • DEMAGNETIZERS
     :  To successfully use eddy current technology in testing ferrous metals, the material is often magnetized to eliminate variations in its permeability which would otherwise interfere with the test. This residual magnetization needs to be removed by a Demagnetizer.

  • AUTOSORTĀ® AND OTHER SORTING SYSTEMS :  Standard and customized eddy current parts testers and sorters are available and have been developed for a wide range of metal parts including fasteners, bearings, automotive and military ordnance parts.

  • MAGNETISM DETECTOR
     :  Metal manufacturing concerns and distributors often need a quick means of checking on whether a product has become magnetized. The Magnetism Detector provides a convenient, low cost hand held gauss meter for determining the approximate degree and polarity of residual magnetism in ferrous material. The gauss meter is very portable and inexpensive so that it can be carried in a pocket for quick measurement of residual flux.
