MAC's staff of Field Engineers and Research and Development Engineers provide you with what you need to test your product. Initial consultation, design engineering, installation and training, both in NDT techniques and equipment operation, result in a smooth operating test system that's right for your product and budget.
CALIBRATION AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES
Service Contracts Annual contract includes regular calibration visits, and scheduled preventative and remedial maintenance on customer owned MAC ndt equipment as required.
Per Call Service Available for in plant repair and maintenance on customer owned MAC non destructive test equipment.
Factory Service Available for customer owned MAC equipment where shipping is reasonable.
LEASE PROGRAM FOR MAC NDT EQUIPMENT
Lease Agreement An economic option that allows the customer to avoid major capital investment and also stay current with the latest developments in non destructive test technology. Includes installation and use of MAC equipment, calibrations,and labor and parts for maintenance and repair, except wear parts such as test coils, rolls, and headplates.
TRAINING SESSIONS
One week Training and Information sessions on eddy current technology, qualifying towards Level II ASNT (American Society for Non destructive Testing) certification, are conducted at MAC's Mount Vernon, New York plant several times a year. A forty hour Operator Training Session, qualifying towards Level I ASNT certification, conducted by MAC engineers in the customer's plant is also available on a customized basis. The next schduled training is April 7th through the 11th.
BOARDMAN, OHIO TEST FACILITY
MAC's Test Facility in Boardman, Ohio is your best choice for orders where you need specialized ndt testing, or you don't have the equipment, time or space to handle it yourself.
The laboratory facility, which is ISO 9002 certified, conducts eddy current and ultrasonic testing on cut lengths of bar and tube, up to 45' long. Testing is conducted under the supervision of ASNT (American Society of Nondestructive Testing)certified NDT professionals. The facility includes an overhead crane, feed tables and receiving pockets that can handle tube or bar at a rate of up to 50,000 feet per day.

ON SITE HEAT EXCHANGER TUBE INSPECTIONS
MAC has many years of experience in conducting on site ndt inspections of heat exchanger tube in condensers, evaporators and similar applications, using eddy current technology with internal test probes. Currently, the Mac 140 Promac eddy current tester, with its optional tube mapping software, is used to give you accurate, up to the minute assessments of the condition of your heat exchanger tubing, locating potential leakers which could lead to costly unscheduled shutdowns.
