MAC MADE A STRONG PRESENCE AT NDE 2009- INDIA 11/25/2009

Magnetic Analysis Corporation, most commonly referred to as MAC made a big splash at India’s NDE 2009 show December 10-12th. MAC, along with its Indian counterpart, Inmar Corporation were gold sponsors for BHEL & NIT- National Institute of Technology located at Tiruchirappalli - 620 014 Tamilnadu, India.
MAC designs a wide range of eddy current, ultrasonic, and flux leakage NDT equipment. MAC’s stands had a full selection of product brochures and information along with helpful, knowledgeable representatives to discuss the best custom solution to an application. Equipment demonstrations were also included.
Demonstration units included a 4 channel Echomac® FD-4 ultrasonic rotary and electronics, a 4 channel Multimac® SM and a single channel Minimac 40 eddy current testers with encircling and tangent coils in various platform configurations. A Promac 141 eddy current probe tester was also available for demonstrating flaw detection in heat exchanger tube and similar probing applications.
MAC’s Engineering Manager, Zhongqing You is presented a paper on “Testing for API Specifications” and was chairman for the 9th session on electromagnetic methods.
