570 Parts Gate |
Fasteners, Bearings, & Similar Parts
MAC eddy current test systems are available to test fasteners and similar parts for heat treatment, geometry, and alloy. The systems test and separate out parts that are either above or below specification from those that conform. This test can be done at very high speeds, using MAC's Autosort parts gate and Varimac comparator tester.

Bearing Races |
Automotive Parts
Parts for automotive applications, such as fasteners, bearings and similar parts can be tested as described above. MAC also has systems to detect flaws in automotive parts such as pistons and strut rods. These systems incorporate mechanics and control logic to orient and manipulate the part through the test, including marking and sorting.

Customized Parts Testers
Highly sophisticated customized parts testers using multiple test technologies and appropriate automated handling equipment have been developed and produced for inspecting military shell bodies, grenades, bearing races, and automotive parts, among others. MAC Design Engineers bring many years of experience in successfully developing Custom Systems to apply nondestructive test techniques and material handling to a range of metal parts.
